Roads - I've taken plenty of them only to realize that I'm just at the beginning of my journey

Dear traveler, welcome!

This website is a result of a sedulous trip planning within the last two decades of travel, which I proudly recognize as my biggest passion in life. Ever since I was a little girl I imagined myself traveling across the world and, later sharing my observations and experience with my audience upon return. Although I took my first trip at the age of three, my passion for travel didn’t reveal itself until my early twenties. That’s when I seriously started exploring the world and capturing beautiful destinations combining two most interesting hobbies in one - travel photography.

Since my move to USA, I became fascinated with all the wonderful destinations this great country has to offer, particularly the West Coast and the one and only Golden State, which I’m blessed to call my home now. After years of exploring California, West Coast, and the U.S. National Parks I’m happy to share my digital routes, tips, and photos with all of you through this website and supporting tourgeek social media pages.

Although I’m relatively new to Los Angeles area as I’ve spent most of my life in the San Francisco Bay Area, I take pride to call myself an Angeleno now and love to explore the city daily. I find that one of the best ways to get acquainted with L.A. is to rideshare with the local community and visitors. Nothing teaches me more about real-life Los Angeles by driving from Bel Air and Malibu mansions through broken streets of Compton and homeless tents on Skid Row, all the way down to sunsets in Santa Monica and Venice and share thoughts with my rides in the meantime. At the same time, together we explore all the popular sights and discover hidden gems that L.A. has to offer. This is how the L.A. Photo Tour idea flourished, which is now available for booking on this site.

Check out my LinkedIn page if you need to get more information about my professional experience and reach out if you are ready to plan your next travel adventure.

See you on the road!

Sheyla
