This road trip to Baja California by the Rosarito Beach, Ensenada Scenic Route which requires crossing the border into Baja California, Mexico. We would be passing through Mission Viejo, Laguna Niguel, Dana Point, San Clemente, Oceanside, San Diego, La Jolla, Solana Beach, briefly Tijuana for border crossing and then 1D coastal highway all the way to Playa de Rosarito.
